Raul Neto in SLC

Austin Horton @austinhorton
Raul Neto has been in town recently, working out with the Jazz, says Rigby...who added "For our female fans, he is REALLY REALLY handsome."

Damn not too shabby, but Gordon isn't getting past Boston.
The only way I really see the Jazz getting more than one of the top 8 picks is if they sit tight at 5 and then work out a sign and trade with Boston for Gordon Hayward after free agency begins. They have to be serious about matching the contract otherwise. Regardless of who the Jazz take at #5, whoever Boston takes at #6 has to be a part of any sign and trade deal. There can be other pieces included - a future draft pick or freeing up some cap space by taking on a bad contract. . . but they have to get that lottery pick out of it or match the contract.

Assuming that it goes - Embiid, Wiggins, Parker and Smart/Exum - Jazz can take either Exum, Gordon or Vonleh at 5. Boston will then either take Exum, Gordon, Vonleh or Smart. After free agency begins, IF Hayward wants to go to Boston, it's going to cost them Exum, Gordon, Vonleh or Smart. I don't care which. But that's the price to pay. Give me Gordon and Exum (who I think are the two most likely to go 5&6), and I'd be pretty happy with how things turned out (even though I'm not an Exum fan).

Cant wait to see neto throwing lobs to gordon in the vegas summer league

You're making me cry tears of joy.

I've had like five dreams of us getting A. Gordon and Lavine.

Not happening. But it would be beautiful.
Core5 + Rudy Gobert + Neto & Tomic + Air-Gordon and LaVine = fun basketball.

I don't know how long it would take them to win, but it would be a fun team to watch. At least for me it would be fun.

There is no such thing as a sign and trade with and RFA until after the draft and no way to make it happen.
