The thought of a horrible 2014 season just boggles me. It's a crapshoot. We got in the top 3 in the lottery ONCE with our crappy record, in a draft that didn't have very good players albeit, and I just don't see us tanking to get the next superstar. Didn't do it when LeBron James came to town, Stock n Malone were surrounded by washed up vets n somehow made it into the playoffs that year. 2002-2003.

20+ million in cap space just doesn't seem to hit home to some people.

That season we got in the top 3 of the lottery we had to trade up to get there. There is no way the Jazz are winning the lottery.

I have no clue what you are saying. We were the third worst team that year, we got the sixth pick. We traded up to 3.

The Jazz will NEVER purposely tank. I do think with Lindsey, they would accept a terrible season that the core 4 tried their best. Everyone knew Cleveland was going to get James. Stock and Malone were too good to even considering tanking.

What is your point with 20 million in cap space? That the Jazz will pay Landry 15 million because they have the money?
