For those who haven't had breakfast yet, a pancakes recipe:

2 tablespoons baking powder
2 eggs, beat them separately before adding to mixture
1⁄4 cup butter, melted (1/8 of a pound)

For a little zing use buttermilk or add 1 teaspon fresh lemon juice to the batter. Mmmmm.

Finally, a thread with discussion on a focused topic. I'm loving this. Good work Joel!

BTW, anybody know how to get lipstick out of bedsheets?

Do you think that we will still be able to buy lemon juice at a reasonable price because of the drought in California? I see there is a warm water blob in the Pacific Ocean that is causing the drought and wrecking havoc on sea lions and fish. I hate to use the words climate change because the phrase has come to mean more about politics than describing the world we live in. I do observe small changes in the environment I live in, and I know how my great grandpa described the environment I live in. Sure it is different. But is that because he was living in a time of abnormally wet weather, or am I living Ina time of abnormally dry weather? Or is the weather perfectly normal on a large macroscale and my life is too short to recognize the long range weather patterns.

But this is a jazz forum, so lest I am accused of derailing this thread, if we are experiencing global warming, and temperatures do rise 2 degrees, will the players still complain that the ESA is cold?
