Just wanted to show you guys some interesting scene that happened in German playoffs last weekend.
What happened was. Michael Stockton(Ludwigsburg) was fouled by Bryce Taylor(Munich). He was awareded two free throws because 5 teamfouls were exceeded! While the first free throw was underway Munich's coach and a player approached a ref claiming Ludwigsburg sent the wrong player to the line which wasn't the case. The ref believed them and ruled it as an manipulation attempt by Ludwigsburg voiding the successful first free throw and awarding possession to Munich.
After the game Ludwigsburg protested against the ruling as it happened at a crucial moment and it was ruled that the game is being replayed.
Adding extra controversy for German fans is that besides most refs being generally horrible they made a gender agenda a couple years ago by introducing a female ref who made the horrendous call. She's very unpopular through all arenas in the country and this year she whistled 7 games I watched live and achieved a 56% whistle accuracy. Now she nearly decided a playoff series with her shenanigans.
