So, I went to a wedding Saturday and then a family dinner last night (wife is BFF with the bride's mother). The groom's family is from Wisconsin, but they're all Jazz fans. In fact, one of the groom's BIL's had on a Jazz shirt and I learned he works for the team. No opportunity for inside info though, he's involved in the half-time entertainment group. Anwayzz, just want to let Jason know I pimped this site. One of the brothers pulled out his phone and browsed Jazzfanz a bit after dinner. If they all join do I get a referral bonus?
I'd describe them as perhaps a step above "casual fan" but it was refreshing to speak to others (not on this board) who actually understand what the Jazz are doing and know why DL made the GS trade. The consensus from them was about 25 wins this season. BTW, I mentioned PKM, particularly his knowledge of college bball players and the 2014 draft thread and told them to ignore Core4 as he usually doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. Didn't want to scare them off completely so I avoided all mention of Troutbum and Cyrone, UGLI, and the rest of the STD, I mean STG crew.
