Refs Admit missed call in the Portland Game

Maybe but they should also assess CJ a flagrant foul. That was a dangerous elbow and should not be tolerated.
I agree. A player should not be able to get away with a play that puts someone else at risk. If it is not called in the game it should be assessed following review.

Gobert wasn't lurking, He knew where Gobert was. Because he just knocked him out of the way giving himself a simple reverse layup, with nobody left to challenge the shot.
uh, yeah, I get that. I was contesting the idea that a reverse layup is somehow routine when Gobert is anywhere in the vicinity. Emmk.

You'd be wrong. If you know where the guy is and move him out of the way it becomes routine. It's why they teach you as a kid to go at a shot blocker instead of shoot over him. In this case he completely removed Gobert from the equation.

nope. You're wrong.

Still - that was a pretty damn impressive play to finish that shot.

He missed the layup

Rudy Gobert technical foul (1st technical foul) 100 - 83
2:53 Damian Lillard makes technical free throw 100 - 84
2:53 CJ McCollum makes free throw 1 of 2 100 - 85
2:53 CJ McCollum makes free throw 2 of 2 100 - 86

My biggest pet peeve is Rudy getting called for fouls when the only contact is the other player extending their off arm. It happens a lot. I'd send tape to the league if I was the Jazz. It is a fairly big swing when a guy goes up vertically and likely makes the guy miss and if anything there should be an offensive foul, but the refs give our most important player a foul and the other team gets gifted two points.

Favs gets these too.

One thing I wondered is if they could review this for a technical since it was above the shoulder contact. oh well... hopefully this one brings attention to the issue.
