Well, I said season... when we all lost hope (we did).

Tonight is the game where we should do it.

Let Alec run the point, set the plays , isos; shoot a few fadeaways.


I just want this kid to put the league on notice that he's the next big thing.

Aww, what the hell?! I'm onboard for this too!

It's gotta work better against the Spurs than what we've been doing (ie. letting Al "the Duncan lover" Jefferson get isos and shoot fadeways.)

Hell yeah, who wants to watch the Jefferson Express barrell his fat *** down the court, catch and shoot a 25 footer. I about turned the game off to that ********. And what does Corbin do? Look like a spectator moreso than a damn coach.
 
No, no, no, no, no, no. Haven't you paid attention to Jefferson this year? What did Marbury ever do? Carmello? Remember how good NY was with Lin and Amare, and how they fell once Carmello came back.

If you told me that Burks would end up being as good as Carmello offensively, I would trade him today. You do not win in this league with ball stoppers.

What made Phil Jackson so great? He convinced Jordan and Kobe to pass the ball.

...yeah, and then instead of losing by 20....we lose by 40 points!

Burks' passing ability is vastly underrated by this board.

I agree, especially for a team whose main play this series is spending 15 seconds trying to complete an entry pass to a ballhog.
You can let him run the offense and explain to him that he needs to use good judgement. Take good shots, make good passes. And take Jefferson out of the freaking game so the Jazz can run the pick and roll please. It sucks watching a team that cannot defend or run the pick and roll simply because Jefferson is incredibly inept in these situations. Burks/Hayward/Tinsley + Favors pick and roll has some potential I believe. Burks can pass, he probably just needs to be reminded sometimes that he can. Running the offense doesn't mean taking all the shots (unless you're Big Gay Al).
 
I would turn the offense over to Hayward a LONG, LONG, LONG time before Burks. Burks has talent up the ying yang. We have no clue what he is going to do with that talent. This summer is huge for his development.

That being said, if Harris has to wave Burks off so he will run the offense continually, then I see more CJ than Wade in him.
