I think they likely work this out. I'm not sure I see them working together for the next 5-6 years though.
I’m guessing Rudy goes.....but I’m not sure the Jazz are going to love this by Donovan’s camp tbh.

Donovan and Rudy have a special opportunity here that, once they are healed, they can become the face of overcoming this virus in this country. I hope they can figure it out before that

Can't believe you guys are mad at Donovan because he hasn't publicly come out and defended Rudy. How about the guy who did something stupid? Where is the pressure on Rudy to publicly apologize to Donovan?
Choosing Rudy over Mitchell is about as ignorant as it comes. Go watch the 2018 and 2019 playoffs and try to find Gobert dominate. Good luck.

Best case scenario:
DM speaks out and says Rudy is like a brother, and they both should have handled things differently, but they will both move on and continue their legacy together in Utah.
Worst case scenario:
This is a way for DM’s people to request a trade, or an ultimatum - either Rudy goes or DM goes - and DM probably goes to the Knicks.
What frightens me is that I see either scenario as a very real possibility.

I wouldn't say I'm mad but more surprised. To me this is something that could be handled behind closed doors man to man. 2 things can both be true at the same time.
1. Was Rudy dumb and ignorant for his actions? Yes.
2. Could Donovan not have let these things spread out into the public and handled it privately? Yes.
I for one am not choosing one over the other because it doesn't matter who I choose it also doesn't matter who everyone else chooses because the only people that decision actually matters to is the front office. The thing I do know is it's more fun when they are both on the same page and dominating together. This doesn't have to be pick 1 or the other situation. If it does end up being a massive problem and it's a "Either he goes or I do" scenario regardless of who goes then I more than likely will become a very casual fan at best. Sports aren't worth being super emotionally tied to when you have literal 0 control over the situation.
Uhhh expect Mitchell has little leverage in anything since he is a RFA, and not even until next off-season.

It's why I say stop bashing Rudy's careless because a lot of players were careless, Donovan first.
I can understand Donovan is frustrated by Rudy but keep it in the Locke room? What's the point to tell your frustration to media?
