The sad thing is they couldn't bring him back like that if he had been a human character. They actually have to kill the actor if that's what the script says to do. Cartoon characters, on the other hand, are immortal because some new guy can just draw them if the script made them kill the first guy.

Hahahaha. Thought of this as soon as I typed it.

What I mean is that people are more willing to accept something like that happening since its just a cartoon. Not exactly following a linear storyline.
