Rodney Hood Interview on youtube...

Rodney averaged 17.9 ppg in the 7 games he played in that Hayward didn't.

Here's a thread on reddit by Rgiss on Hood's numbers without Hayward:

https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/6m9vpi/rodney_hood_averaged_2235020_on_555_ts_272_usg/

Rodney Hood averaged 22.3/5.0/2.0 on 55.5 TS% 27.2 USG% per 36 when Gordon Hayward was on the bench this past year

22.3/5.0/2.0 on 55.5 TS% 27.2 USG% per 70 possessions, which is per 36 for the Jazz but closer to per 34 for regular paced teams. The Jazz had a 110.8 ORtg and a 109 DRtg. (1295 poss sample size)

Compare this to Hood averaging 13.7/4.4/2.2 on 47.8 TS% 19.6 USG% per 70 possessions when paired with Hayward (2170 possessions sample size) The Jazz had a 108.4 ORtg and 107.8 DRtg when they were both on the floor.

I think Hood will be a serious candidate for MIP this year.

Bonus: Gobert averaged 16.2/14.3 on 68.2 TS% per 36 when Hayward sat last year

The question is who will replace Hoods productivity. Hood is capable of replacing Haywards role.

Burks + Ingles + Spidey is my hope.

Favors coming into his own would be nice to have as a net gain.
