Rondo to Dallas?

Giving up Brendan Wright wouldn't be good. The Mavs have depth problems in the big men department. Would only make sense if they had consecutive trades for another big.

Maybe this. I love Rondo, don't get me wrong, but he's looking pretty shabby for only being in his 8th season. His FG and FT percentages are absolutely atrocious, but he's a legit triple double threat. If you add on his injury history, he seems like a risky investment. I'd be interested to know what draft picks are also involved, but not enough to search for it.

He would look good in a Jazz uni, tbpfhwy.

If you're Dallas and saying we won't be bad for the next 3 years giving up 1st rounders isn't an issue unless you have horrible injury luck. This team is deep. Jameer Nelson is a KGTC guy solely and Devin Harris a heat check guy. So upgrading at PG isn't that necessary when Monta is handling a lot anyways and Parsons likes to handle and Dirk will see increased isos in the playoffs.

stein says its happening, with wright, jae crowder and jameer nelson going to boston, along with a first rounder and a second rounder. It seems like dallas' biggest issue is point guard play. Rondo seems like the perfect fit. They might make a huge leap with this trade. I bet they have a subsequent trade for a backup center

Dallas kind of had to do it to keep up with the top of the west.

Risky move but the right move imo. Will be interesting
