What's new

Ronnie Brewer almost returned to the Jazz?

Well...he is a vet with a limited game. Corbin was probably highly interested.

To be honest I am fine with Brewer in bench role. As for Corbin I have hope that he will please us this year by embracing the youth.

You know, I was considering joining the Jazz too, I'm 6' and a decent passer. I was choosing between them and the Heat, they could use another point guard too. I'll announce my decision on twitter, though I am actually leaning on spending more time with my family....

(that and I can't play even high school level ball)

Brewer certainly is a system player and the Jazz proved to be the right system for him. I think he would be a tough player for Hayward to go up against in practice everyday and possibly help Hayward to become the star that he should be.

We could have used his shooting off the bench.

Umm...

I get the impression you're being serious.

If what you're trying to say is that he would have helped the tank I might agree.

The person who would suffer the most from a Brewer return is Ian Clark. Why play the third rookie when you can play the experienced athletic vet? No, I truly hope the roster is set, too many new faces as it is. Besides, if the team needs anything, it's true point guards, not an Alec Burks like player who can't shoot.
