Let’s go Old School:
Cody Williams - George Gervin (smooth operator with awareness, ability to penetrate and a floater)
Isaiah Collier - Mitch Richmond (Cody brings the finesse, Isaiah brings the hammer)
Kyle Filipowski - Detlef Shrempf (Olynyk is close but lacks the aggression/athleticism)
 
Cody Williams - Kerry Kittles
Collier- Bigger Raymond Felton
Flip- Olynyk
 
Williams looks like a bigger, slightly less athletic Alec Burks to me
Collier is very similar to Baron Davis
Flip is definitely Olynik with a bit more offensive interior game and weaker defense.

If Flip can move his feet like Horford (especially on defense), then we just got one of the biggest steals of the decade.

I don't see it.

I also don't see the Brunson comp for Collier. Collier plays with so much more speed.

Ya it's extremely unlikely that either guy is as good as the comps.

I hate the Richmond comp. For one Richmond is not a pg and not thought as a powerhouse and Richmond was an elite shooter.

Haha, bigger as in taller. Hopefully he doesn't have the same issues with staying in peak shape.

These are the best comps I have seen. Collier and Raymond Felton seems super fair. Bulky, thick build. Attacking the rim is their best primary solution on the court. Both capable passers. Baron Davis was also the bruiser type but he was ultra athletic and I think Collier is going to rely a bit more on speed than explosiveness. But that is the mold.

Cody Williams is WAY too thin to be Josh Howard. Jaden McDaniels feels too optimistic. I feel like his mannerisms on the court remind me more of a rail thin Brandon Roy. Smooth, two way player. Brandon Roy had a lot more meat on the bone.

Flipynyk. Correct. Although I think Olynyk had more feel for the game.

Tim Hardaway was a shooter. Elite. And he was thin, not thick. Collier is a $6 burger from Carl's Jr thick. He is an Iceberg Milkshake thick. He is Hearsky's mom's calves thick. No comp.

I'm not seeing it. Tim Hardaway in his prime was stupid quick with his crossover and ability to break guys down. If Collier had that level of quickness he would have been number 1 pick in the draft.

Collier has a nice stroke as well as a knack for getting to the cup and scoring in traffic as did Richmond. Both 6’5”!and brawny. Richmond’s nickname was the Rock but whatevs.
