Rubio to join the T'Wolves next season

I think it could be a mistake for Cleveland not going with wlilliams and knight vs Irving and who over is left at 4.

Williams
Kanter
Irving
Knight

Vs

Irving
Kanter
Williams
?

Well at least that is what I would do

Honestly, this make me happy for the wolves. I thought it would be ****** of him to not come over after wasting number 5.

Agreed. Williams/Knight I think would be better than Irving and Vesely/Leonard/etc. Of course the best situation for Cleveland would be taking Irving #1 and us passing on Kanter.

I think the Cavs select Irving. HOWEVER, you would have to think that in order to secure Rubio, they guaranteed him that they will not be selecting a PG of any variety with #2 this year. So here's to hoping that the Cavs pass, and they keep their (speculated) word.

True, but they could try to trade with Minny and net themselves Irving and Williams.

That was a rumor at one point. In the opinion of most experts Irving >>>> Knight. Cleveland would be foolish to pass on the consensus "surest" thing in this draft and hope Knight is still available and would develop into a starter. If they passed on Irving, I think there would be a ton of trade offers for Minnesota to consider. Then Utah could very well take Knight if Kanter doesn't impress. So Cleveland could be stuck with Williams/Kanter. Now that might be a very good draft, but I think they are really looking for a franchise PG.

Whatever happens, I just don't see Irving slipping to #3. He'll either be taken by Cleveland or Minnesota will select him for another team.

Kanter's workout and interview with us is tomorrow and the next day, right? I think this will ultimately give us the answer to the question of who we will take at 3.
