it certainly does not, turners shown he can beast it up given the opportunity, which he isnt getting in philly behind iggy. having burks turner and hayward on the wings and favors and kanter in the front court would be a great way to move forward with the future.

If they give us Turner we'd have to take back either AI or Brand, with us taking Turner AI is out of the question. Wed have to take Brand, and I don't want him stunting Favors growth.

With Jefferson out of the picture, how do you figure? The way I see it is it gives Kanter and Favors more minutes because they can play the 5. Also, Corbin would probably feel less pressured to play Brand than Jefferson. I know Jefferson's been a nice guy and nobody wants to trade him for 50 cents on the dollar, but we're going to run into some snags next year with the club's inflexibility where the big man minutes will be distributed the same way as this year. I believe that hindsight will show that the best Jefferson trade was for Kaman.

If Turner could shoot from deep I think he and Hayward could work together. Heck, I think they could work together regardless. Both are very high IQ and unselfish.
 
You could also play Turner at the PG. Turner brings lots of flexibility with him. I would trade AJ, Raja + 1st rounder for Turner + filler to make the salaries match. I would be fine with having Brand on the team as long as his contract isn't too long. Brand can't play big minutes anymore so minutes would open up for Kanter/Favors. KOC would just tell Brand that he would be coming off the bench sometimes.
