Rudy - First in NBA history to finish in the top 3 of both offensive & defensive rating

Defensive Rating is confusing to me. I see several different sites who have Rudy #1 but Basketball Reference had Rudy #3 at 99.2 behind Draymond at 99.1 and Drummond at 99.0 when I looked this morning. I don't know how these sites come to different numbers.

Different sites calculate the number of possessions in a game differently. There's a simplified formula meant to estimate it (FGA + FTA*0.44 + TOs - ORebs), and then other complex formulas meant to get the exact amount.

Ahh I see. Is there a certain site that is most trusted for the correct number/formula?

Historic. How often does a guy like Rudy come along? Apparently once in like...ever. And he's ours. Allllll ours (insert diabolical laugh).

I hope Rudy remembers that he's matched up against the turd that got into the ASG instead of him (which I am still amazed by).

Oh, I think he does. I also think he feels he is getting robbed in the DPOY.

Some of his latest tweets are:
#FakeNews
"Still not enough" when quoting his defensive accomplishments this year
and re-tweeting Fournier about him being DPOY

Gobert wants to make a HUGE statement in the playoffs with the whole league and nation watching.

Still remember that draft, and how pissed I was at the announcement that the jazz had traded for Burke. I remember yelling no no no no into the tv screen and friends and family calling me an idiot. Little did I know how great that draft would ultimately turn out for the jazz. Haha

How clutch was it that the jazz were probably the only team that didn't view him as a stiff. They probably saw his slide, and I remember I think he was projected to be drafted at the end of the lotto or just outside, and he ends up sliding to the end of the first round which allowed the jazz to trade for him and not give anything of real value. Thinking of what had to happen for us to get him is mind blowing to me and kudos to the jazz for realizing his talent when no one else did.

It's kind of amazing that you're not a GM by now. Going to work everyday, kissing a photo of John Stockton, and not backing down from anyone or anything.
