I know... I don't care too much as the player Ochai needs to become likely doesn't put up huge numbers in the G League. Simone is the guy for sure... if there is another injury then maybe Ochai gets some burn.

As a matter of fact... I predict Simone is in the rotation from this point forward (as long as he is healthy of course).

Gay is going to comeback eventually. Losing spot due to injury is big no-no in the NBA among coaches for vets. Maybe they will slowly phase him out after he returns, but he will return.

He's done. Benching a young guy who performs well just because a ****** vet comes back is a bigger no-no.
 
Kerr gave David Lee's spot to Draymond... they ended up doing okay.

Agbaji needs minutes to see if he can develop and not just in the G league. The G league doesn't help team chemistry. If it results in a few extra losses this year as he learns, that is fine too.

No "and", I don't have an agenda here, just an FYI.

I know you are referring to minor injuries, but I think it's still in poor taste to wish injuries on others.

Simone was out... and Ochai didn't seize the moment. If Simone plays as well as he did last game Rudy is done.
 
Hopefully Agbaji can get some run with Mike eventually he kind of needs that true point guard if they are going to use him off ball. But if he is going to fill the role voided by Gay it shouldn't matter as much,just gotta get him the ball more. Remember this guy was exceptional catch and shoot threat last season and lead his team to the WCT in alot of ways only because of him they were even there last season.
