Two gems from OKC beat writers...

Rudy Gobert is the only big man that I've ever seen Russell Westbrook hesitate to challenge at the rim.

And

Royce Young @royceyoung 28 Mar 11:13 ET
Gobert checks out, Westbrook straight to the rim for a layup. The Thunder just can't find anything offensively with Gobert out there.

He also served as CEO of 3C’s Fatherhood Educational Partnership, Inc., a Kansas City-based educational program that works to develop young men into responsible fathers. He was also inducted into the SIU Saluki Hall of Fame. Joe dies suddenly back in 2013 at the age of 59 from sudden unidentified causes after a brief hospital visit. Here is a memorial video:

It's awesome how much everyone loves Gobert. In a recent article by Zach Lowe:

Boston has a nice collection of talent, and Ainge has historically outperformed his peers picking in the middle and bottom of the first round. It’s just hard to find stars there. Ainge is good enough to hit solid singles around no. 15, but singles don’t change the course of a franchise. Hitting on Rondo at no. 21 or Rudy Gobert at no. 27 does.

I look forward to Gobert sky rocketing up this chart in the 15/16 season.

When I read that about Karl, it made me think of Rudy. This makes me love Rudy even more.

He should be #16 a couple of games into next season. Everyone remembers the next guy in line, that will be a fun post. Not having playoff games is hurting him. That will be fixed next season.

You kidding me, after his tweets he should be #1 right now. He could not play another game and be #1.

It is completely stat based. Rudy's only been a starter for half a season. He'll move up rather quickly. I started the countdown WAYYYYYY before Rudy blew up, back when people would have included him as fill-in for a trade.
