Rumor: DMo to sign with Jazz if Favors misses extended time

For a while it was being reported Donatas wanted out of the deal because another team wanted to sign him for more money.

This whole situation is simple. DMo needed to take the qualifying offer when it was available. Then once this season was over he would be a true free agent.

I guess the idea is with Favors' injury, DMo can provide a 1 year insurance for when we go to the playoffs, etc.

In the event he cant find a satisfactory long-term deal he could sign somewhere for 1 year relatively cheap to show he's healthy, like what Terrence Jones did with the Pelicans and Utah has room.


They'd have to sign him to take Withey's minutes tho, he's a porus defender but a stretch 5
