Russia’s continued support of Republicans

The Thriller

Anyone read this today?

The DOJ has now listed many of the online hacks that our most prolific trolls on this website feed off of, as having received money from Russia to peddle disinformation to weaken our resolve to support Ukraine, divide our country, and support Trump.

These were some of their talking pts. They read exactly like what we’ve been bombarded with for the past 3 years:

This in particular really stands out. Ask yourself, how many dozens of times have you seen right wing trolls on this website regurgitate these same talking pts:

Again, if my tribe kept benefiting from Russia, I’d probably second guess my support of my tribe. If my presidential candidate kept asking and receiving help from Russia and/or kept praising Putin, I’d probably not support that candidate. I know the drooling rubes won’t do this, but the rest of you normal people should ask yourself, “Why does Putin want republicans in power? Why does he want to help Trump?”

trump and Putin both think similarly about the United States of America. They both don't seem to like it much at all.

It’s interesting that the folks who cry incessantly about Jews errr George Soros’s influence, don’t seem to have any problem with Putin’s. And the same folks who talk about “not falling for the deep state” just got caught making $400,000 dollars per month if they made 4 videos bashing America and promoting Russia. Now they pretend like they had, “noooo idea” that this cash came from Moscow?

I miss the old useful idiots of the Cold War. At least they sorta had reasons for doing what they did. Instead, these republicans are bored as **** and just care about making as much money as possible by feeding the rubes endless nonsense.

One would think that conservatives would be angry that Russia is once again attacking the United States through useful idiots on the right. Especially since these useful idiots are partisans who make the entire conservative movement look bad. But then again, if power is the only thing that matters, then maybe they just don’t give a damn? I’d love to see some of our true conservatives on here support America and voice concerns over their partisans parroting Russian propaganda (and keeping dirty Russian money). The party of Reagan every day demonstrates how it’s committed suicide.

Russia never called them racist, so they're cool with it.

Lol, so true
No one has greater contempt for MAGA than MAGA leaders and propagandists. They have no respect for their audience. They shovel them the dumbest **** (knowing) that their audience is so brain dead, that they’ll just gobble it up without any questions.

It’s hard on me because I expect my fellow citizen to act as an adult and think about something other than making farting sounds in the corner of the classroom over and over and over again. Most of us outgrew that at some point in our lives usually around 5th grade.

If there is one thing I know about racists is that the only thing they hate more than minorities is being called a racist.

I’ll comment on it.

Because of who it was, I’m not shocked. For those who don’t know, the one the Russians bought was Lauren Chen. Her husband is also listed, but he is a doofy guy who knows how to work cameras, edit videos, etc. Tenet is Lauren Chen.

I’ve never been an admirer of Lauren Chen but I am very familiar with her content. I posted one of Lauren Chen’s videos in JF back in 2021. The link to the post is below, which I will leave unedited, but video is no longer available because YouTube banned her.

Lauren Chen is not a Republican or even an American. Lauren is a biracial Canadian who was born and raised in Hong Kong. She has lived in Canada for the past decade or so. Lauren is not unfortunate in the looks department however it was her raging Antisemitism that made her unwatchable. Lauren had the persona of someone who really was not a fan of the tiny hatted people but she paid money to Dave Rubin, so maybe it was for show. Either way, I didn’t like it.

I’m also familiar with the other YouTubers associated with Lauren’s Tenet Media. I don’t believe that any one of them was making pro-Russia content at the request of the Russians, but I think Tim Pool was making pro-Russia content because he wanted to. Russian money did go to Tim Pool, but it was in the form of licensing. Tim Pool was making Tim Pool content and the Russians wanted Lauren to license it from Tim so they had the rights to rebroadcast it. I don’t know if that is better or worse.

The others are Matt Christiansen who is a traditional, soft spoken, small town, boring conservative that I didn’t even know was still making content. Benny Johnson is a fast riser who has used viral TikTok skills to master YouTube Shorts, but I don’t recall ever seeing anything from him that was pro-Russian. Finally, there is Lauren Southern, who used to be highly contentious, but has mellowed. She makes about one video a month and neither Russia/Ukraine nor Israel/Palestine has been mentioned a single time.

Its estimated that the Russians invested 80 million into the 2016 presidential race supporting Trump, its probably the best 80 million Putin had ever spent for the amount of influence it has bought him. I don't doubt that he is handing over plenty of the folding stuff this election to support Trump and the Republicans as it is definitely in his strategic interest, I'd be shocked if the Russians weren't supporting RFK Jnr too. I just wonder what the extent of co-ordination between Russian troll farms and the Trump campaign is? And how they co-ordinate it to get around the FBI?

I remember a few years ago there was a case in Slovakia where the authorities actually caught on video a Russian "diplomat"(read spy) meet up with a media journalist/personality and recruit him to cooperate, spy for Russia(seek, gather and give highly sensitive and classified information about Slovakia's armed forced and NATO to the Russian military intelligence ) and to spew Russian talking points in his media. The Slovak journalist got thousands of euros in exchange for his services. Here's the link with English subtitles:

Here's a link to an AP article about it:

After seeing that video at the time, I couldn't help but think ... they must be doing this everywhere, right? If they are doing it in a relatively small country like Slovakia, they definitely are trying to do this at a much larger scale in the US or the UK or Germany or France. And they are definitely doing it in my home country too... I can spot the exact same Russian talking points with a bit of a twist to cater to the local sensibilities being spewed by certain journalists and politicians, who all of a sudden found themselves with good financial backing to expand their platforms and political influence.

So yeah... don't doubt that this is happening in your neck of the woods too. For as amateurish as Russian military has performed in Ukraine, Russian intelligence and counter-intelligence in the information space has pedigree and deep history with spying and influencing other nations in various of ways. Any time you hear your local politician or media personality spew Russian government talking points point by point, as if it's coming straight out of Putin's mouth, ask yourself why?

P.S. and BTW, in this case they are abusing the willingness of right wingers to do it. But make no mistake - the goal here is not just to influence US' position on Ukraine or whatever. This is just one part of it... maybe a much bigger part is to sow division and exploit cracks in western societies and create havoc in whatever way they can. On some issues they would have no problem paying right wingers to spew BS, on others they would pay(or amplify) left-wingers to do the same.

I'm 100% certain that tucker is in bed with Russia and close to certain that trump is.

Watch Active Measures. A documentary about this exact thing. Lots and lots of smoke with trump and Russia.
