Salt Lake City Ranks 1st Among “Most Superficial Cities in America”

How do you know what his experiences are? Or even what he learned from those experiences?

My response was to this post of his:

Shows you are too lazy to actually work it off naturally and take care of your body.

My wife's issues have nothing to do with taking care of her body or working it off. He is assuming the only reason people want tucks and lifts is because they are fat and lazy. He doesn't know what he is talking about.

Sorry you disagree man. Just my opinion that it is something unnecessary and superficial.

It's a large reason. Cool, your wife doesn't fit in that category. Whoopty-doo. It's something most people do as a shortcut to actual work, or do it when they realize they can't be what they once were. I'm just in favor of letting father time take his course and doing things as naturally as possible.

Lol. Again, you're way off on this topic. Way off.

My wife has had three kids. She exercises 1 hr a day, and counts every calorie she eats. She looks fantastic. Amazing. Better than she looked when we got married. Better than most 18 year olds. Guess what? After three kids, some parts of her body have CHANGED. Not gotten fatter, or older, or saggier, but COMPLETELY different than when she was younger. No fault of her own.

She's done the work. Those changes have nothing to do with what she eats, or how she exercises, or how lazy you think she is. Those changes came about because she decided to have children. That's it. Her problems are 100% because she wanted kids.

Now, like I said earlier, men and women put on makeup, nice clothes, cologne, get braces (and how is this different than a tuck or lift? Both are invasive procedures that change the way you look), do their hair, shower to look better for everyone else and to feel good about themselves. How is a tuck or a lift any different?

I'll tell you how: because you've decided you know everything about a topic you know nothing about. You have no real world experience (which, by the way, is my biggest grief with politicians. Most politicians went into politics because they couldn't hack it in the private sector, yet they want to tell me how the private sector should run, when they either failed at it, or have no experience with it).

All your doing is digging yourself a deeper hole and making yourself look silly and uniformed.

We get older and no matter what we can't look like we did when we were 19. I don't blame people for trying and I don't look down on people for getting surgery if that's what they want to do, but wouldn't it be more healthy to appreciate some of the changes and be proud of not looking like a nubile?

Thing is, I've seen a lot of really bad plastic surgery. This botox crap women do to their lips? Wow, straight up horror show. Never has it looked good to me. A tummy tuck probably makes the most sense because you can get loose skin that will not go away. It's not a matter of working for it, it won't go away.

There are probably just as many bad tummy tucks out there. The difference is you can cover it up with a shirt.

Comedian Bill Burr has a pretty funny bit on this. Would post, but profanity laced.

Ok fair enough.

Luv u GF. Ur one of the most grounded posters on here. I'm generally pretty stubborn with my opinions, but I find myself having an open mind, and often allowing my opinion to change whenever I read your thought provoking posts.

Would have repped, but I gotta spread it around first.
