What's new

Say it ain't so Big Al

The guy went to court and didn't get what he wanted, so now he wants to hurt Al rep.
I'd guess that the guy didn't give Al an estimate before doing the work, and the court settled on a compromise.

Sounds like someone trying to take advantage of someone with a lot of money thinking they wouldn't care about spending extra money.

The news station should not have run the piece without getting the other side. If Jefferson declined to comment, then the piece should have been killed. That is, IMHO, bad journalism.

I'm not say Big Al was wrong or right, but we all know that things always look one sided when there's only one side to the story.

Worst part of the entire story: The car is in storage in Wisconsin. I'd like to see him drive that car into the ESA parking lot.

There are always two sides to the story. More than likely though, Al didn't like the job, was coming off their 10th straight loss in Minny, and said screw them.

That is scummy as hell if it's true, and I will think far less of him as a person if it is.

That being said, I haven't heard his side of the story and if this was such a slam dunk case I have no idea why he didn't win the money back and court costs instead of having to settle.

Because the true story isn't about a rich guy screwing the poor store owner, but the opposite, a store owner screwing a rich guy.when the rich guy calls his bluff thevstore owne screws himself. When his lawsuit failed the onlynthing left was to slander him in public.

I should have explained that my link was Big Al's response to the story. Here it is again.

Looks like the car is still in storage in Minnesota because the guy didn't do a very good job. Big Al got the car back and realized it wasn't worth $60,000 so he cancelled the checks.

Keep in mind that Big Al is the guy who the T'Wolves wanted to give a max contract to and he wouldn't allow them because he felt like he hadn't proven himself yet. Seems like a pretty honest guy to me.

The real question we should all be asking is, why did Jefferson go to this dumpy local shop in the first place? He should have taken it to some pros in So. Cal... like X to the Z, Xzibit! and told him to pimp his ride, yo.... then have it transported back to him in Minnesota. Atleast then he would have known it was going to be done right.

Maybe he knew he could pull one over on this guy. LOL. Who knows the truth behind this story. I will say that AL deserves to slapped for picking such a lousy car to pimp out.

Maybe he thought it would be a nice thing to help out a small business in the community and get them some good advertisement. The job ended up sucking and being overpriced so Al told them to F*** off.
