SG and SF Scenario's

Kelenna Azubuike (or however it's spelled) FTW. He was considered a pretty good wing player, but injuries have knocked him back into obscurity. I'm interested to see if he still has "it".

Utah should let CJ walk, annoint Hayward the starter @ the 2 spot and push HARD to sign Jamal Crawford in the offseason. Crawford would be the 2nd unit scorer that the Jazz covet and you could even slide Hayward to the 3 while keeping Crawford @ the 2 during the end of games if needed.

Atlanta has Orlando on the ropes right now and Crawford is a major reason why. He'd be a huge upgrade to this Jazz roster.

I just don't see Atlanta letting Crawford walk. But I do think they regret trading Jordan Crawford. Man that boy tore it up the 2nd half of the season. And Chandler has been aweful during the Denver Series. So, whats your guys feelings about JR Smith? And I still think Utah should try and work out a trade with the Bucks for Carlos Delfino or Irasolva

JR Smith is an expensive head case that is basically CJ Miles.

I am not a fan of "shot chuckers". My definition of this player is one who takes a lot of bad shots (like low-percentage off-balance 3's early in the shot clock), that I basically count as turnovers. JR Smith is the perfect example and I don't ever want to see him in a Jazz jersey.

As for Ilyasova, is he kind of the same way. He takes a lot of shots that he shouldn't. He is great spot-up shooter but he doesn't seem to know that he should just limit himself to catching and shooting when open. Plus he is not fast, and I'm assuming you want to trade him to play the 3 since our logjam at the 4. That makes him a liability on defense at the 3, even with his height, in my opinion.

I don't think it is smart letting CJ walk in hoping that we will land Crawford. I also kind of consider Crawford a "shot chucker" but not one that would really bother me all that much because he can makes shots consistently even if he isn't all that smart with the possession. I agree it would be a major upgrade but how much would you pay him?

I actually think Wilson Chandler will be a very nice fit for the Jazz. He is not someone who attracts spot light but a solid player who defends, rebounds and hits outside shot. One bad series is not the end of the world, especially with that many wing players Denver has. Not sure if we have enough money to sign him though. We could if we get an exception when AK signs with another team, but that's just the current CBA.
