He played SG mostly last year and that's where most of his success came from. So there are a few main points why I think the switch is necessary.

- Hayward is exerting too much energy guarding stronger SF's

- He could get his shot off easier over smaller defenders

- In my opinion he's a pure SG, he has no post up game whatsoever which is essential for a SF.

So here are the options for a new starting lineup.

Harris
Hayward
Howard or Miles
Millsap
Jefferson

Corbin's gotta make this change.

Hayward is a 2. He likes playing outside, but that doesn't mean that as a SG he can't drive first and play inside-out ball to get into his groove. His shot has been off this year, but I think he's playing the wrong position and that doesn't help. Dude is a great passer. He makes plays for others, so he doesn't always have to be the go-to shooter. I think he's frustrated and I hope he will be moved to the 2 spot.

Point Guard. He can get his shot off soooo much better against those midget defenders .. because basketball is only about being taller and shooting.

I like it! Why not give it a go?

PKM, no need to get all, like, you know, sarcastic, is there? Well, maybeso.

I love comma's.

Beantown -Just what i asked for in another thread, and got no response from anyone. I like that lineup. It still leaves a viable second unit. Rep upgrade for Beantown!!

What exactly do people think moving to the 2 would fix?

They are saying that him being at the #2 he would be defending and be defended by a smaller man.

Making his life on defense easier and his shot easier to take without someone in his face.

Whether that holds water or not, who knows. I personally don't think that it does.
