Should we trade Millsap for a great Point Guard?

I think that it is a question that needs serious consideration. He seems to be the Jazz's biggest trade piece that could get us what we need. We have a loaded front court while we are weak at PG. I hate to say it, but Paul might be the odd man out. We have a player in Jeremy Evans sitting on the bench that should be playing major minutes. Whenever he is on the floor good things seem to happen for the Jazz. Here is one that I think could possibly work:

Jazz get:

Rajon Rondo, Jermaine O'Neal

Celtics get:

Paul Millsap, Devin Harris

This trade works on ESPN's NBA Trade Machine as well as on RealGM.com. Both Millsap and Rondo are fringe All-Stars. Harris would go to Boston to make room for Rondo. O'Neal would come to Utah to make the contracts match and he is also an expiring contract. O'Neal would probably never play for the Jazz.

Utah:
PG: Rajon Rondo, Earl Watson, Jamaal Tinsley
SG: Raja Bell, C.J. Miles, Alec Burks
SF: Gordon Hayward, Josh Howard
PF: Derrick Favors, Jeremy Evans, Jermaine O'Neal
C: Al Jefferson, Enes Kanter, Jermaine O'Neal

Boston:
PG: Devin Harris, Avery Bradley
SG: Ray Allen, Marquis Daniels
SF: Paul Pierce, Michael Pietrus
PF: Paul Millsap, Brandon Bass
C: Kevin Garnett, Chris Wilcox

Faster than you can say, "Craig1221 is gay". (not that there's anything wrong with that)

Quit with the Rondo-ness...please
I ....I just can't take any more of it

Why? Because the thought of a pass-first point guard is somehow upsetting? Ya, it would sure suck to have a guy average over 10 assists a game.

*edit* He's second in the league right now with 9.6 apg, while averaging almost 14ppg. As an afterthought, he's also averaging almost 5 rebounds (as a point guard!), almost 2 steals, while shooting 50% from the floor.

I can totally see why you can't take anymore of it.

Forget Rondo.

I want LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

Thanks for that. Rondo would nearly be perfect for our team. He would give us basically everything that we are lacking right now (defensive ability, athleticism, scoring, and a pass-first mentality). We would be much more effective against teams with players like Chris Paul, Darren Collison, Russell Westbrook, and Stephen Curry... (all the teams that we have lost to this month to the lay person).

Screw the scoring, we've got plenty. Imagine the efficiency increase though, of having at least 10 easy dimes per night from a PG who is actually looking to run an offense and dish the ball. With the talent we have, a pass-first PG is an absolute must.
