I've suffered from shoulder pain in my left shoulder off and on for about 6 years now. I went to a general practitioner doctor a few years back and after feeling around and poking it while I moved it around, he said he didn't think it was anything serious. He told me to get have X-Ray done, which I never did. I do a lot of work with my hands above my head and I have just assumed it was tendinitis. Most of the time Ibuprofen will help. Swimming usually helps as well.
Over the weekend I got in a fight with my drunk brother-in-law and when they pulled me off him, that arm was bent pretty far back. Ever since then, my shoulder has hurt. The pain feels the same, but nothing is helping. I couldn't finish my swim this morning because of it.
Anybody ever deal with a bad shoulder? Could it be the rotator cuff? The pain seems to be coming more frequently over the past few months, even though there hasn't been as much work lately.
