Gobert takes rejection seriously. Dan Clayton, a blogger for SaltCityHoops.com, maintains a running list of all of the players Gobert has blocked. Last week the tally reached 190, representing more than 40% of the league. Gobert claims that he can tell you whether or not he has denied a particular player if you give him a name, and for the most part he can.

LeBron James? “Yes. I did. The next game he skyhooked me.”

Andre Drummond? “I would have, but they called a charge.”

James Harden? “I blocked him. Blocked the s--- out of him.”

Russell Westbrook? “That’s the guy I have the most blocks against! He doesn’t care. He’ll just keep coming at you.”

Rudy's such a badass.

Read the quote about Harden and just cracked up. Rudy is the heart of this team. Franchise player in the making. Stud on defense, and slowly evolving into a reliable offensive option as well. He's the guy that free agents will want to play with moving forward.

Love that the Jazz have him.

Rudy has an infectious confidence. I just hope he never changes. He's funny as hell too!

hahahahhahahhahahahhaa..

FWIW - If he Jazz use all 4 draft picks in 2016 on French players. I'm totally cool with it.

Gobert and Westbrook are very similar in competitiveness. Just like Gobert has blocked Westbrook a ton, many players have put Rudy on a poster. I'll always remember the Wiggins exchange. He absolutely destroyed Rudy, did Rudy care? No, moments later Rudy took his vengeance, and it was sweet!! Also remember a game against the Clippers a few years back in the Millsap AL era, and them parting like the Red Sea as to keep from being posterized by Blake Griffin several times in that one damned game. Had Rudy been there, there would've been fireworks!!
