I based that on the fact that he played in SL. I figured anyone needing hip surgery, there would be know way he'd play in a meaningless SL game.
Besides its different. The fact I didn't think he'd need surgery is due to me not having injury info. SI people do hours and hours of research and do watch a lot of games. Trust me they know about Favors Plenty

GREAT point.
SI rated Favors as 79 and Hayward at 57 to start the year last year, so they aren't forgetting to list them. They are in the top 50.

maybe you can tell me who Amy is? I'd like to agree with you guys.
You just can't rank 3 guys on the same team within the top 30 if they haven't made the playoffs yet, it's just not fair. I get why us as Jazz homers would, but no way I expect national media to think so. You have to earn it by making the playoffs.
And for people who think Gobert should be rated much higher, he only played like he did for half the season. You can't expect anyone to be ranked in the top 20 after a really good half year.

IDK why Drummond is rated above either Favors or Gobert though. Dude is overrated imo.
