Singler or Jerebko anyone?

Detroit is overloaded with small forwards. there is talk of unloading one. I am not sure what Detroit would want in return and that matters a lot but young talent can never hurt.

smith will be the starter and play some time at the 4. datome was just signed out of Europe and seems to be a baller., so that leave Kyle Singler and Jonas jerebko as the odd men out.

jerebko could play a stretch 4 type of role but is owed 4.5 mill this year with a 4.5 mill PO next year. he is young and a decent bench player.

Singler screams the past jazz type of player. he is a good shot, high bbiq and a good motor. he just isn't very good at defense. he is only owed a mill this year and next.

thoughts?

No defense and not much else to offer. Not interested. Latest years have shown that bench mobs should be shut down defender for the better part if playing as a whole unit.

I don't know much about modern-Jerebko but I was really high on him at one point, but I know he had a bad injury and I haven't heard much about him since. I'm feeling lazy so I'll split the dif on my opinion: trade Evans for him.

I was thinking something like this but like Singler better.

Jerebko has impressed me, actually. However, I'm all for keeping the lineup the way it is. If we surprise and sneak into the playoffs, that's awesome. If we're terrible and get a high pick, then that's great too. I feel that we are in a great situation, regardless of which direction we go.

I really like Singler (big Duke fan, over here). He is Matt Harpring 2.0. I think he is the all-time leader in college basketball for stitches in his face. He is one tough player.
