What's new

I touched a nerve with Mr. Trolling, my apologies. What I should've said was, I hate trolling myself, almost as much as bait fishing.

If you dig it, then do it -- I have no beef.

Just kidding, trolling is for dick wads.

No, you're right. I would fly fish if I knew how. I really suck at fishing so I just hop on a boat, throw out something with a hook on the end of it and do laps around Strawberry whilst drinking lots of beer. Every hour or two I foul hook a 20.75" cutthroat in the gills and end up having to throw it back because it's in the slot. When it's time to turn the boat in I set up right next to the boat launch with my 2-pole permit and a case of power bait and trebble hooks. I don't watch my pole too close so when I finally notice my pole bouncing around I know I've got a fish good and hooked, usually in the gut. I don't keep it though, because I don't really like the taste of fish.

Hah, I found out the hard way (ice fishing) that the 'two pole permit' isn't allowed or accepted at Strawberry. $100.00 fine.
