What's new

Sixers ready to part ways with Igoudala.

He was exposed in the playoffs, can't shoot and is not big enough to guard elite SF's of the league.
Not a fan of Iguodala's contract and certainly don't want him on the Jazz - but I don't think he was "exposed in the playoffs." Everyone knew Iggy's a slasher not a shooter, that he's got a small-forward's game even though he's closer in size to a 2, and that LeBron is pretty big and pretty good. I thought he displayed a solid all-around game in the series - particularly in the closeout game where he really delivered some big shots to keep Philly in it.

Iggy has been exposed for years as the player that he is... A good role player being paid like a franchise player.

Gotta love these idiotic GMs/Owners who give out big time contracts to role players. Our franchise being one of them... But I can also think Memphis too, Pau Gasol and Rudy Gay come to mind... Atlanta gave Joe Johnson way too much... And now Philly is trying to unload Iggy's contract.

Goodluck.

I don't get the love for Iggy. He's on a contract that is just as bad as AK has been. Why would we want to endure that again?

Agreed, and Id kind of like to see what Utah gets in the draft and this offseason FA signings before making a trade for AI. Unless its Bell, Memo, and Evans for AI/Nocioni
