2nd marriage or 3rd?I love my wife and prefer going to bed with her. But it definitely wakes me up a lot. I'm a pretty light sleeper and usually it takes me a bit to get back to sleep.

Yeah, it sucks. As you get older, you sleep less. I don’t help myself, up till 1 am most nights, staring at the iPad. I could do more to help myself sleep more. You only sleep 3-5 hours per night? Holy ****.
Whatever reds advice is on this subject don't listen to it!

That’s a lot of nightly visits to the bathroom. So there may be prostate issues involved.
You might consider having a sleep study to see if you have sleep apnea. I do, and I use a full face mask, so I can breath through my nose or mouth. But for sure those masks are not for everyone. And there are implants for sleep apnea now:

Inspire® therapy offers a proven sleep apnea treatment when CPAP doesn't work. No mask. No hose. Just a better way to breathe and sleep naturally.www.inspiresleep.com
I only sleep 3-5 hours per night. And I never fall back once awake. If you’re having trouble falling to sleep, or falling back to sleep, this may help:

I'm married 32 years this year. It's been long enough that having her gone causes me more sleep disruptions. I'll startle awake wondering real quick why she isn't in bed, then remember she's out of town or whatever, then to back to sleep. Can happen 2-3 times per night and there are plenty of times that once I'm awake, that's it, there is no going back to sleep.
Like fish said, don’t take my advice, lol. As for my age, I forget, lol….That last link is funny. Close your eyes, do all this and you’ll fall asleep within two minutes! What???? The whole freakin thing will take like ten minutes!
I actually typed that out as the second sentence and deleted it, haha. One way or another, amirite?
I tried mouth taping once and it seemed impossible with facial hair and was extremely painful to take offi had all kinds of trouble sleeping when i was younger which ended up being obstructive issues. Check if you can actually breathe through your nose to sleep by taping your mouth shut to sleep and if that works do it for a while to train yourself to breathe through your nose. If there's nasal obstruction consult an ENT specialist. I ended up having corrective nasal surgery and have had zero problems since
