Dennis Lindsey has brought up the Jazz's player development as a strength of their program on numerous occasions (Hayward career year at 27, Ingles career year at 29, George Hill career year at 30, Gobert All-NBA as the 27th pick, likening Rubio's career arc to Jason Kidd's, etc). Think there is any interest in some of the rooks whose 4th year options were declined?
Josh Huestis - Defense, size, length, athleticism.
Mario Hezonja - "Crobe", European JR Smith, who knows... I'm still on Hezonja Island, but it's getting lonely up here.
Jahlil Okafor - Gotten in better shape. Doesn't seem to have "Jazz DNA" that they're always talking about.
Brice Johnson - Looked nice at Summer League. Has played 22 minutes for the Clippers and we know how Doc feels about developing young talent...
Kevon Looney - Has shown some nice flashes after some hip injuries which have derailed his career. Has rebounding potential and can really run the floor well. Helped spark a GSW comeback vs the Wizards by outrunning everyone for some fast break dunks. Apparently Kerr is a fan of his and wanted to keep him. Was going to be owed $2.2mil next year, but would have cost GSW about double in luxury tax.
Chris McCullough - Don't know too much about him. Just remember the Nets drafting him like 29th after he tore his ACL.
