Yeah, basically don't throw Rudy any pass that exceeds the speed of that of a small child's throwing ability.

Do you play basketball?

Its tough for a giant to catch a bounce pass in traffic. The extra time it takes to get up to his hands makes it difficult for him to catch and do something with it quickly. A big part of being a good passer is passing to guys when they have an opportunity to do something good with it. If they can't throw the lob I'd rather have the ball handler shoot it or kick it outside than just throw the bounce pass that is likely to go nowhere.

How many bounce passes did CP3 throw DeAndre when he was in traffic last night?

Rudy has okay hands, but players need to recognize he is at a big disadvantage when catching bounce passes and passes around his hips and he has a huge advantage when they throw it at the rim.

Yeah, I have pretty bad hands too when it comes to catching more difficult passes, it sucks and really prevents me from scoring some baskets.

These are pro's, I expect them to know develop some hands. Favors has great hands, you hardly ever see him bobbles catches that he can get his hands on.

If the ball hits you in the hands, you should be able to catch it.

Rudy's hands have definitely gotten better this year though, so he is making progress on that front.

I'm not a pro, but you learn a lot and can relate if you have played regularly at any level. One of my biggest pet peeves is guys throwing passes that a player can't do anything with.

All I'm trying to say is that Rudy's hands are fine... the bigger issue in my eyes is guys not recognizing that he has a huge advantage when you lob it vs throwing a bounce pass at his knees.

His hands will get better, but I hope guys will start throwing more lobs for him.

But why would you EVER bounce pass it to Rudy? It's like putting catsup on a hot dog. It's a waste of a good opportunity or hot dog. throw it up high!
