Speaking of IQ.

I actually thought the gif was perfect. Hysterically laughing at someone saying they fantasize about digging for fossils... LOL - still gets me.

In the meantime, I'm glad to see you and your wife took up the cause you spoke out against in a different thread about the ALS challenges.

Yep, trolls gonna troll.

This is a very intriguing topic for me. Pure Mathematics, Logic Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Philosophy, Art of Mathematics etc. There are many fine lines between them.

I see mathematics as one branch of philosophy. Philosophy can also be pure, logical, applied, or even artful. It also has its share of remarkable proofs.

Welp, it finally happened... I enrolled at Dixie State.

Haven't had to take a school test since '99, so when I took my placement tests this week, I was pretty far from optimistic. I dominated the English portions, much to my surprise, and can have my pick of classes. Math on the other hand... Judas H. Priest, that was embarrassing. I did not know one single answer. Not one. I had no idea where to even begin. It was horrible. I ended up just picking "A" for each answer and wouldn't you know it, I did better than I would have if I tried. Doesn't matter, I'm taking the lowest of the low, and I bet I still suck balls with it. I hate math.

Oh well.

The best news of the day? Dixie has a Bass Fishing Club, and I'm officially a member. Boo ya.

Isn't that the school that produced that legendary Beauty Pageant contestant who gave that profound answer about the need for people to have better access to maps?

Or was it math? Hard to tell, she might have had a speech impediment!
