Stars Roster

The Stars announced their roster. Oni is on it along with Howard and Morgan, three GLeague lifers Collinsworth, Pryor and Deonte Burton, the Idaho Mike Scott, the two ways, Herpes and this is the intriguing guy who made the roster as a tryout player from Georgia State. He played center last year for his college team but is more of a 2-3. His coach in the quote is RJ Hunter's dad. RJ was a first round pick and appears to be stuck in the GLeague. Georgia State won their league and went to the NCAA tournament. “Since we recruited him, he’s done nothing but win in this program,” Hunter said. “We’ve had some really good players and he’s a good player, but he’s kind of been the foundation of everything we’ve done. He’s been the best defensive player I’ve coached in 30 years. He knows the system. He’s just a winner."

I'll try to go to some Stars games if I have time. I'm curious about Rodney Prior, as well as our two-way guys.

This is Malik Benlevi, the guy who tried out from GA State.

I'll be interested to see how JWF, Brantley and Oni do right out of the chute. I was somewhat surprised to see that Brantley is only 6'5". Prior has the collegiate pedigreed. If I read the GLeague regs correctly we can have three roster players and the two ways on the GLeague roster at one time in addition to the gleague roster limit of 10. So Kidd, and NWG could join Oni.

I’d like to point out the convenience of the Stars and us frequently calling people up and down for practice. Imagine this ****:
