Starting PG?

Dennis Schroeder makes his decision for his next team on the 4th of July. He is a nice little PG and the price tag should not be that high? I guess everyone says "no"?

I think the league and the Jazz are going away from PGs. Chris Paul is a dying breed. Why do the Jazz need a PG? Everyone they drafted and almost everyone on the court can facilitate. GMs draft players that can break down defenses, create their own shots, and get their teams into some kind of offense (athletes). Coaches create offenses and scheme to get everyone touching the ball (alley oops or 3-pointers). The future of the NBA is guards, forwards and centers.

And why do you people want to trade Sexton so bad??

The PGs are just getting bigger and Point Forwards are a thing. That said, facilitators sure as heck are not going anywhere. Utah has some players who can facilitate in a system insomuch as they can pass to an open man. What Utah is missing is wing/perimeter facilitators/play initiators. I think Clarkson is quite underrated there and Utah has a few "prospects", but they are either not proven or need time to adapt and develop. I think Utah grabs a rental somewhere via a trade and calls it good until George, Sexy, or Sensubean can prove it, else a star PG/Point Forward becomes avaialable. Ainge is playing a long game (Utah is ahead of their timeline I believe) and knows what he's looking for. I can be patient as this current roster has a nice mix of youth and capable players. I think we can use another vet (Lowry maybe? Just spitballing) to mentor folks, but Clarkson is currently the grande dame, if you will. Never thought I'd say that, but I'm also quite okay with it. That said, I think they wouldn't be remiss to grab one more.
