Most importantly, after chasing the lottery the last 3 seasons, I do believe Paul Allen has given the team the green light to make the playoffs this year for the first time in ages. Why? I think he feels that they now have enough talent to compete for the title with 3 potential superstar on their team (Aldridge, Lillard, McCollum). That's the kind of critical mass you need to contend IMO.

OK may be that was a bit OTT - but they do have 2 legit all stars in Aldridge and Lillard, and 1 'potential' super-sub in McCollum.
