You're missing the point. Spending time together on Sunday to reflect on your life together, etc, helps you to plan for the rest of the week. Most couples these days are so busy with "life" that they don't often spend quality time together.

There are other aspects that I think are beneficial but that is 1 of many..

Also I'm not just talking about Christians who are just Christians by name, I'm really talking about practicing, faithful Christians who live life by the scriptures and follow Jesus in their actions & choices.

If the only day you're spending quality time with your significant other is on Sunday...then you're headed towards some rocky waters. Saying that all you need is one day is ridiculous, you need quality time every single day. Just like your relationship with Jesus. It ain't just on Sunday's, it's every single day.

Well yes of course you need quality time everyday if that's possible. I'm not disputing that. I'm just saying, at least if you put aside 1 day, that's doing much better than most couples nowadays that's busy with kids' soccer practice, shopping, working, etc, etc.

Better than most DOES NOT EQUAL good.

It's not a difficult concept. If you don't have the time to make sure you spend quality time with your SO every single day...then you don't have the time to be in a relationship. Fact.


EDIT: This applies more for marriage/long term relationships than just dating. I'm sure most of you knew that though.
