I bought the new Huawei P40 phone that's really nice and paid for the first gym membership ever in a decade. I'm on paid vacation until things get better! I'm really enjoying my Huawei watch, laptop, and cell phone. They are really nice products and are so convenient. I can leave my house now with just my phone and watch and pay for everything, open all the doors to my apartment and complex, get on the subway, start my motorcycle and a everything. It's really nice! Now I get Google and China to spy on everything I do but still well worth it!

I feel guilty because I got my payment today, but this virus has felt like an economic boom (at least short-term). I am fortunate that my salary hasn't been impacted, but my expenses have plummeted. I don't really spend money on entertainment right now, I don't spend as much at restaurants even though we pickup/have dinner delivered more often(I've cut out lunches and expensive dinners), my transportation expense is way down, I got refunds for two trips (anniversary and spring break), there are no children activities to pay for, and the list goes on. I have increased my charitable givings (to church and directly to individuals) and I still feel like I am swimming in money. I would like to support the local economy... but it is actually kind of hard to do while so many things are shut down. I may just have to go on a shopping spree when everything opens again.

Not sure what’s funny because it’s true. I feel for people losing their jobs and have no problem with unemployment but when they’re making the same/more as people working it’s a little head scratching.
