Exactly, we started an economic boycott of Venezuela in 2015, which was supported by other countries and which threw their economy into chaos. It also caused a great deal of migration because of the difficult conditions there. This is not to mention NAFTA which took away the livelihood of many small businesses in Mexico and led to the exodus of illegal aliens here.

Dubious, perhaps. It did coincide with an huge increase in the number of illegals in the U.S. I don't have proof of this, but I did read it in the past.
