IDK he just got invited to join the staff for summer league. It is not a secret Hardy and the team benefitted from seeing what Lauri did with his national team and going with his strengths. Tuovi visited in SLC last season and as he is being a solid Euro coach... I think this kind of invite for Summer League staff is both "thank u" for him and also getting variety of opinions. Euro basketball is kinda trending so whatever aside the discussions about Lauri he brings to the staff. is just an additional bonus. This just a guess but I think what most interests the organisation is his opinions of summer league talent and how both Lauri and them could benefit most of each other on becoming season.
How common it has been in the NBA if there is a Euro star in the team that their Euro coaches visit Summer League. Is this anomality or a normal thing?

I’ve never seen it, but I also don’t really pay attention to who is coaching in summer league. I like the concept though. Give your young guys some new voices and see how they respond.

This cuts the SL roster down to 14. It gives the Jazz an opportunity to look at some guys we know nothing about. Someone made the comment as to why Juzang is still here. He was involved in an auto accident about this time last year and was out for awhile with a concussion. He also had a nasty wrist sprain while playing with the Stars and still averaged 20 ppg there. I say turn him loose for summer league and see what we have.
I would expect Hendricks to eventually play but I think Sensabaugh gets shutdown for the entire SL.

I don't think Hendricks plays at all. We have seen this movie before with Hamstring Strain and how long were Conley and Sexton held out with a similar injury?

By this time next season we will be talking about how we don't have anyone but the next Gabe Vincent in the sl, and Brice if he is healthy by then smh
