He didn’t come over at that age and develop in the league though. Teodosic was awesome overseas and came over when he was 30 and didn’t stick.

I already did a deep dive analysis of international players in the draft thread. Something like 1 out of 20 total drafted outside the top-6 in the last 6 drafts exceeded their draft position. Not great.

Just their behavior. I assume that they absolutely would have traded a future first to move up. Since they didn't that offer was likely rejected. There was a LOT of noise about teams wanting to trade down. That leaves the 9 and 16, which I would have demanded. as another team.

like i said, he's just really good at basketball. that's why he'll stick. it's like Manu - he didn't come over until age 25 and we all know what he became. he was just damn good at basketball. vezenkov is too (not saying vezenkov will be manu)

Ryan said Bilal was 8th on the Jazz’s board, if we traded up it would have been for Black or Walker.

At age 18 he was in the HEBA 1 league putting up 4 points per game.

Yeah... I don't know he will be able to hold defensively.... offensively he seems like a perfect match for the current Kings team. If he's defensively good enough to play, he will have impact offensively IMO. If not he might be like... Simone Fontechio type...

No one was able to trade up into the top 8 for anyone so we have no idea what the price was.
