Summer Poker League 2016

I think all 8 will be here tomorrow.

I'd like to discuss the possibility of the Winter Poker League before we get started if that's okay with everyone. Also a possible non-league game in Sept. that will partially serve to recruit players for the Winter Poker League.

For those of us who wanted to stay in the hunt tonight really couldn't have been any better. With such a big lead it was pretty obvious the whole table was trying to put pressure on every hand Siro was in. It could have backfired, but the wolf pack was able to get its prey tonight. Bad news is, this is probably his drop, so there are two more games and he's still in control.

As far as you guys (players) know, are these standings correct?
 
I don't think I won a single hand the whole night. I also made some stupid decision and played like **** all-around.

I will have to up my game next time.

Also, I enjoy those breaks with Jamezz and Babypeterz. I think Babypeterz is a pretty awesome guy.

So does anyone like using facebook's event feature?

If, and it's a pretty big if, there is a winter league I'm not going to try to manage 3-5 different ways of communicating with players. So if there is a central place that all players can get their info and say they are going I want to utilize that. If that's not facebook I'd consider using meetup.com, but there's a fee and I'd take that fee (I think it's $12/month) out of the league money. But it wasn't even used by all the players last time.

I really want to provide visibility for all the players on who the other players who will attend are. Also a place to post the standings. And to communicate any other league info.

This one is pretty important to me as it will provide me one place to deal with all that and reduce the amount of footwork on my end by a lot. This will not be a jazzfanz exclusive league, so a thread here is not the answer. But you guys are my favorite and by far most reliable players. So please know that I want to accommodate those of you who have been playing in my games for years most of all, but it has to work for all the other players, too.
