I do not think that event, whether it happened or not, is relevant to this nomination.
Lol what?

"They" meaning her team. No, nobody should have outed her.So 'they' should have outed a sexual assault victim without her consent?
Her identity was leaked to the press. It was at that time she decided to go public."They" meaning her team. No, nobody should have outed her.
I've never heard any mention of her name being leaked. Washington Post claims:Her identity was leaked to the press. It was at that time she decided to go public.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/inve...bd52dfe917b_story.html?utm_term=.672bbae93c7eNow, Ford has decided that if her story is going to be told, she wants to be the one to tell it.
I do not think it is possible to ever figure out what happened on that night. We don't even know what night we are trying to figure out.Lol what?
OK, I thought you were saying that it didn't matter to you whether or not he tried raping someone.I do not think it is possible to ever figure out what happened on that night. We don't even know what night we are trying to figure out.
A former schoolmate of Brett Kavanaugh's accuser wrote a Facebook post saying she recalls hearing about the alleged assault incident involving the future Supreme Court nominee, though she says she has no first-hand information to corroborate the accuser's claims.
"Christine Blasey Ford was a year or so behind me," wrote the woman, Cristina Miranda King, who now works as a performing arts curator in Mexico City. "I did not know her personally but I remember her. This incident did happen."
She added, "Many of us heard a buzz about it indirectly with few specific details. However Christine's vivid recollection should be more than enough for us to truly, deeply know that the accusation is true."
Just like the good 'ol days... MAGAWithout further evidence this is going to end up as, “he said he she said” and he will be confirmed.
However, reading his views on women, his ties to the Federalist society, and learning more about his background everyday, I think it’s not unreasonable to think that Bretty Boy has a few skeletons in the closet. It’s almost like he believes women should be subservient to men and shouldn’t have power over their bodies... weird!
Whether or not there’s evidence to indict or convict is the question.
What’s sad is how she’s being treated. Clearly, the attacks from Breitbart, Orrin Hatch, and Trolls trolls sadly show why women don’t come forward after these horrific experiences.
All your "whys?" have been discussed in this thread...This isn't a legal trial. There isn't legal evidence being submitted and the allegations are inadmissible due to their being from 37 years ago. The situation is simply being politicized and tried in the court of public opinion. That in and of itself is ugly.
Why didn't the alleged victim bring this up when Kavanaugh was appointed to the U.S. District Court in Washington D.C. or at some point earlier in his career? Why was no one notified in all this time? Why did she wait until Kavanaugh was nominated for the SC? Why is Diane Feinstein of all people the first one to receive a complaint? What is her motive to bring this up now, if it isn't political?
Apparently, this incident was never reported to the school, her family, or anyone except allegedly a marriage counselor she and her husband met with.
