"Surprised if Teague Doesn't End Up in Utah"

i'm happy with Burke and whatever to get Teague. I'd be bummed with getting rid of Burks unless we know for sure that Exum will be that get to the rim or line at will player I think having one guy who can get points out of nothing is valuable.

Burke and Booker + future pick have to be on the table from the Jazz's standpoint.

Then the discussion evolves to Burks, maybe Withey, and another pick...

Then the Jazz inquire about Korver...

I guess everyone knows, the logic from the Jazz's standpoint is that this buys Exum another year to get his legs under him and develop, while at the same time keeping the team competitive to show Hayward we're serious about competing.

Then a year from now, we know what we have in Exum, Gobert and Hood, and can make a play to retain Hayward or move him if need be.

If the Jazz are healthy, they're a top-5 team in the west, maybe top 4.

Burke and Booker are completely expendable in the bigger picture.

Wouldn't mind Linsanity for a cheaper price - same role. Starter the rest of the year and let's Dante get his legs underneath him.

You mean the guy who got injured when we played them last night?

That's the one. If the Jazz want a rental, he's younger, should be cheaper to acquire and would fit great with Snyder's P&R (if they use him the way the Knicks did early in his career.)

Plus, let's face it, his fans are crazy and the dude sells merchandise. It can be both a business and a basketball decision.

I think teague would be better/brings some good potential for the future of our other players and team. Lin would be more of a stop gap type. I dunno if the hornets would even be interested in trading him. He's a pretty cool guy tho.
