What's new

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk

I have watched every KU basketball game since the 2012-13 season.

You are correct he didn’t start every game his first two seasons (though he started at least some games all four years at KU, IIRC).

He was not “buried on the bench” a la Tyler Self and co.

He started 6 games his first two years, idiot, none in his second year

Chandler Hutchison (the draft pick right behind Allen) was buried on the bench his first two years by an Australian that is on one of the teams that will play the Jazz in a preseason game.

What's your opinion on Devonte Graham?

Udoh was a first round draft pick. Niang was a star in college. hard to try to say Jazz coached them up to the level they at now. Also I have seen Kidd in college. Not a NBA player. Gleague player all the way

Good thing he didn’t say that. What he did say is that the Jazz are good at finding gems this way. And the record supports that.

Years ago I said Svi will be better than Grayson Allen and I stand by it.
Hate away !

In 2009 I predicted you would be a savant basketball talent scout nostradamus for us here. I can't prove it because of the crash, but all of the old posters will remember that one statement that I've said for years once.
I'm finally here for the credit I so richly deserve.
I was specifically awaiting this thread to request said credit.
Please like this post to give the credit, and send all budding scout video's to me. Preferably scouts younger than 10, I don't want to waste my time in finding the easy win. Anyone can do that.

What's your opinion on Devonte Graham?

Devonte is one of my favorite Jayhawks, but I think his NBA ceiling is something like Raul Neto. Probably playable, but not a starter or major contributor. Has a lot of heart — really good at a lot of things, but not really great at anything. Undersized.

He also had the tendency sometimes to disappear at key moments (see almost the entire NCAA tourney this year, and Oregon in the Elite 8 the year before), although he was huge and clutch in the Texas Tech game in Lubbock this year.

why even have a first rounder when you can have a guy like that at second rounder?

trade ingles and future first rounder pick for 2 second rounder!!!

Some guy on ESPN named him the 3rd most impressive rookie in SL and noted his short arms which was probably the reason he wasn't drafted higher.
