Taking Charges and Flopping

I watch Hood and Burke in transition and they don't even try. I agree it is in part a product of our shot blocking, but in transition you might as well try. Hood would likely give up an and 1 anyway. I don't think the coaches are preaching it.

Burke drives me bananas. Dude gets out of the way every time. A guy his size can't play D without taking a charge here and there.
 
Wes Matthews and CJ Miles taking charges single-handedly won the 2010 playoff series against Carmelo.
 
I agree that the jazz need to take more charges and I'm also frustrated by the fact that they rarely do
 
Never been a fan of charges. They are dangerous plays all around.

Until the league gets rid of them we should utilize them... It's more dangerous for the guy commiting the charge than taking it
