Hayward has better overall skill than derozan, but we shall see
Hayward also a longer defender.

I believe Coach K said that he thought Hayward could play the 4 in international ball as well.

This would be awesome, we'd get to see the Hayward at 4 experiment before the season even begins.
I'll be a bit annoyed if that happens, but in my mind it's pretty much a tossup. I'd take Hayward over DerRozan for this team, but I'm also a bit of a homer.
The Next 4 cuts :
Chandler Parsons......Good on fast breaks ,good at popping 3 pters.but more dependent on someone setting him up and this team has scorers
Andre Drummond.......In a close game you can't play him because of his poor free throw shooting
Damian Lilliard...........This could be Kyrie Irving also ,4 PG's aren't needed
Demar Derozan/Miles Plumlee.......Plumlee could make it as the emergency Center,DeRozan is a great individual scorer but lacks the all around game

I think the cuts will be:
- Parsons
- Korver or Thompson -- we don't need 2 dedicated shooters; I could actually see both of them being cut, tbh
- either Plumlee or Drummond -- normally I'd think Plumlee, but Drummond's FTs could be a factor
- Kyrie or Lillard, probably Lillard would be cut also, unless they're calling Lillard a combo guard.
Paul George's injury opened the door for DeRozan and Hayward, potentially. The knock on DeRozan is his shooting, but I'm not sure how well Hayward has been shooting as of late.
