"Tell em bout the gunline boss"

What about if you fix it for SG's who get above 20 mpg?
Hayward actually averaged 19.3 ppg, but if you take those classified as shooting guards who scored more than him this is the result:

Name TO% Overall SG rank
Butler 6.5 4
Thompson 8.4 18
Derozan 9.0 28
Hayward 11.4 56
Harden 11.8 62
Wade 11.9 65

Edit: Damn, it's hard to post a decent table, but hopefully the three columns I included are obvious.

mpg = minutes per game.

God this makes me so sad that Exum is out for the year. We could have been legit, like maybe 53-55 wins legit, this season. Now I'm hoping for 45.

You could certainly argue Hayward has 8-10 wins against replacement. You may actually convince me that Rudy or Favors give you 8-10 wins against replacement.

Exum? Maybe in 4 years if all goes very well on his development. But next year? Seems incredible to me.

Lol every time he takes the ball to the hoop its a TO
See dribbling off his foot to lose the game against Washington last season
I remember seeing a game when Michael Jordan shot an air ball at the buzzer that could have tied the game. Man, that guy choked EVERYTIME he took the big shot.

Apparently the stat keepers are too because the evidence they collected doesn't match with your conclusion.

I love stats just like everyone else but they're not the end all be all, I'm not diminishing Hoods talent I just think he's a great catch and shooter but his isolation game needs work

You're wrong any way you look at it. Hood is clearly quite capable of creating his own offense. I could tell that without looking at any stats. Of course he has room for improvement, but that applies to everyone.

Speak for yourself.

I seems somebody was not watching Hood at all last year. He was our 2nd best playmaker to end the year. And he's better with the ball in his hands than anybody on the team not named Hayward.

2nd best playermaker isn't saying a lot when Burks was injured and our 2nd best playmaker was either Joe Ingles or Trey Burke before Hood started playing well.
